3rd Questionnaire for American Legal Center

We need to understand your current thinking about the new website. It would be better if you could kindly tell us your hopes, desires, and expectations now, rather than later when it would be much more difficult to make changes.

— How Visitors Should Contact You —

Today, we need your thoughts on the way in which website visitors should contact you.

The design of your new website offers options for visitors to contact you, in addition to emailing and phoning you. We will discuss each option and then later ask you to make decisions about which ones you think will work best for you.

    Option #1 - Request a Call

    OPTION #1 - REQUEST A CALL

This one is the most visible form and allows the visitor to request that you call them. This option will be available on all pages as a tag on the right side of the screen.

    1) The visitor clicks on the tag.
    2) They fill in the form.
    3) The message is sent to your email.
    4) Someone in your office reads it, and that person or someone else telephones the visitor.

    A) We suggest you keep this option as it encourages engagement with potential clients.

    B) If you decide to keep this option. do you want give any special instructions to the visitor when they fill out the form? This can be things such as, "We can only phone you back in the morning (or afternoon) Pacific time."

If so, please write the instructions below:

    Option #2: General Inquiry

    OPTION #2: GENERAL INQUIRY

This is when a visitor has a general inquiry not specifically about a case. The form to fill in is found on the Contact Us page.
    1) The visitor fills in the form.
    2) It is send to your email.
    3) Someone in your office responds either by email or telephone.

We believe you will definitely want to keep this option. But what about the wording?
The default wording is just for a general inquiry. Do you want it changed to give the visitor an opportunity to request a free consultation.

    Option #3 - Free

OPTION #3: REQUEST A FREE CONSULTATION

This form appears on the homepage and the About Us page. The visitor is asking for a free consultation to discuss their particular case.

The process is generally the same as described in Options #1 and #2. They fill in the form, it is sent to your email, and someone responds.

(Encouragements to request a free consultation also also appear under your telephone number and email address on the homepage.)

Do you want to offer free consultations to website visitors who could be potential clients?

Note: If you decided to have free consultations on your website, we highly recommend you do not offer paid consultations also. Having both free consultation and paid conslutation services on the same website will confuse the visitor and lead to trouble in the future.

    Option #4: Paid

    OPTION #4 - PAID CONSULTATIONS

If you wish to have paid consultations on your website, we highly recommend you do not offer free consultations also. Having both paid consultation and free conslutation services on the same website will confuse the visitor and lead to trouble in the future.

A request for a paid conslutation request can be set up, but we have to give careful thought as to the best way to approach this.

    A) The easiest way for the visitor to pay for a consultation and for you to receive that payment is through PayPal. Services like PayPal that allow you to conduct online transactions are called "payment processors." PayPal is the most straightforward to set up payment processor. Also. the payer does not need to have a PayPal account.

Setting up other payment processors is complicaed and time consuming.

Do you know for sure that you do not have a PayPal account for uslegal777@gmail.com?

If you want to offer paid consultations and do not have a PayPal account, would you like us to set one up for you?
(We would be willing set up a PayPal account for you as part of our production budget for building your new website. We cannot offer this for setting up another payment processor as the other ones are very complicated.)
